What’s the approximate cost of a mascot? Determining the total cost is impossible without the whole production process! Therefore, this is not an easy question to answer upfront. High quality design and production, a custom that satisfies client’s requirements, while providing the maximum level of comfort for an animator, that will last a long time, is easy to clean, lightweight, safe, and that allows for movement without malfunction - is a very complex task. Each order is calculated individually, taking into account the complexity of the design, the materials used, the designs and the wishes of the client. The cost of manufacturing the mascot will be calculated only after the meeting with the client when the following is discussed: 1) approval of design with a sketch in 3 angles 2) size and dimensions 3) time frame and quantity 4) price range for the production of one sample, ex. 1200-1600€, 1601-2500€, 2000-4000€ 5) lifespan of the costume 6) length of time the performer will be wearing the costume without rest 7) tasks of the mascot (ex, sitting, running, dancing, standing, and etc.) 8) measurements of the performer (head size & height) 9) whether a transportation and storage bag is required We usually prepare 2 price calculations depending on the complexity of the design, the cost of materials, the design features and the total work required.   How long does it take to make a mascot? For a moderate complexity 1 mascot takes around 1-1.5 months after price agreement and a 50% deposit. If you need several costumes of the same design (3–10 pieces) then we will produce within 2-3 months. Do you offer design services? We don’t the initial development of your unique design, however, there are many excellent professional design companies in Latvia where you can order your design. We then make adaptation of the chosen design to a real human size and in the process of manufacturing, we make the necessary initial design adjustments in accordance and with the agreement of the customer. Licensed mascots (cartoons, fairy tales, and heroes) are only made if you have purchased a license for this mascot costume making. At the beginning of the project, please send your design of the mascot in color and, if possible, adapted to human height and in 3 angle variations - front, side and back views. Do you offer fabric selection? We offer a selection of fabrics for several costume variations for our customers. We only use high-quality artificial fur, velvet, sports lining, sound and air permeable materials for the production of our mascot costumes. We want the costume be as comfortable as possible for the animator, so that the mascot is not heavy, but can easily put on and worn for several hours. The headpiece should be tight and large enough for comfort!  What does ‘’high-quality mascots’’ mean? Quality means finding the optimal compromise between the required design and implementation of all the requirements of the customer while providing the maximal comfort for the animator in the costume (such as - ventilation system, sound permeability, and comfortable viewing angle). High-quality mascots are designed for long-term use, they are easy to clean and meet the quality requirements - so that the performer can easily see, which allows him or her to move actively and easily engage in children's events, performances, and etc. We also keep in mind the activities mascot will be performing so there’s no malfunction!
